基于FPGA的RS422通信PXI板卡设计

Design of RS422 Communication PXI Board Based on FPGA

针对某测试台高速总线接口的需求,开展了基于PXI接口的RS422板卡设计开发。该设计以FPGA为主控芯片,控制RS422串口数据采集和PXI背板数据交互。采用WDM驱动结构DRIVERWORKS和DDK驱动开发软件完成相关硬件的驱动程序。同时,开发了相应的上位机测试程序。与传统数据采集卡相比,单独以FPGA来实现PXI协议代替了专用的PCI芯片。试验结果表明,该设计方案能够实现RS422数据采集功能,能够降低成本,加快开发周期。

According to the requirements of a test station with high-speed bus interface,the design and development of RS422 board based on PXI interface has been carried out.The design uses FPGA as the main control chip to control RS422 serial data acquisition and PXI backplane data interaction.The WDM driver structure DRIVERWORKS and DDK driver development software are used to complete the relevant hardware drivers.At the same time,the corresponding PC test program is developed.Compared with traditional data acquisition cards,the PXI protocol is implemented by FPGA alone instead of a dedicated PCI chip.The test results show that the design scheme can realize the RS422 data acquisition function,which can reduce the cost and speed up the development cycle.
