摘要
为了分析全球化背景下影响高等教育因素的多维性和复杂性,马金森和罗兹提出了全球-国家-地方高等教育能动模型,指出影响高等教育的力量来自全球、国家、地方三个层次和政治、市场、学术权威三个维度。该模型将能动性的概念引入高等教育研究领域,认为影响高等教育的政策和实践既可以由实体机构也可以由具有能动性的个人或集体发起。能动模型拓展了以克拉克三角协调模型为代表的高等教育分析框架,兼顾了影响高等教育的结构性因素与能动性因素,对全球化时代的高等教育具有较强的解释力,受到越来越多的关注。
To better understand the complicated and multidimensional impact of globalization upon higher education,Simon Marginson&Gary Rhoades(2002)propose a"glonacal agency heuristic",which emphasizes the simultaneous significance of global,national and local dimensions and forces.They also maintain that at each level-global,national,and local-there are both formal agencies and collective human actions that are central to understanding globalization and higher education.Not unlike the three points on Clark’s triangle(professional/collegial,governmental/managerial,and market),this new approach also points to three intersecting planes of existence.However,it emphasizes the intersections,interactions,mutual determinations of the three levels(global,national,and local)and two domains(organizational agencies and the agency of collectivities).With the help of this new framework,we can come to a more sophisticated understanding of the globalization processes in higher education.
