Thoughts on Bridge Collapse Caused by Bridge Overload

对桥梁超载现象的整治,全国范围内一直在进行中,但还是会出现超载车辆引发桥梁坍塌的事故。独柱单支座桥墩引发桥梁从墩柱上滑落的事故,已发生多次,桥梁的稳定性成为桥梁结构安全性的短板,必须明确规定直线连续梁桥不得采用独柱单支座桥墩。从法律、法规上对车辆违规超载的限定,包括限载标志、车辆超限的行驶规定,以及独柱单支点桥墩的设计3方面对桥梁超载现象及独柱单支点桥进行评述。

The rectification of bridge overload has been ongoing nationwide,but there will still be bridge collapse accidents caused by overloaded vehicles.The accident of single-column singlesupport bridge piers that caused the bridge to slip off the piers has occurred many times.The stability of the bridge has become a short board for the safety of the bridge structure.It must be clearly stipulated that linear continuous beam bridges cannot use single-column single-support piers.This paper comments on the overload phenomenon of the bridge&the design of the single-column singlesupport bridge from three aspects:the limit of the vehicle's illegal overload in laws&regulations,including the limit sign,the driving regulation of the vehicle's overrun,and the design of single-column single-support bridge.
