Reflection on Post-colonial Translation Theory Based on a Contrastive Study of Two Translations of Joan Haste

后殖民主义翻译理论作为一项反文化霸权运动,是当下文学翻译研究的焦点。以《迦因(茵)小传》两个汉译本为起点,对后殖民主义翻译理论如斯皮瓦克的"属下"说理论;萨义德和韦努蒂的抵抗理论;以及霍米巴巴的"杂合"理论进行分析反思,我们需要更加客观地认识并反思后殖民主义翻译理论。

As a movement of counter-hegemonic culture,postcolonial translation theories are the central issues among literature translation studies at present. The author manages to analyze and reflect postcolonial translation theories by a deep research on the typical theories of the representatives of post colonialists such as Spivak’s "subaltern" theory,Said’s and Venuti’s resisting theories and Homi Bhabha’s "hybrid" theory with the two Chinese versions of Joan Haste as a platform. The author mainly focuses on the limitations of the theories of Spivak,Said,Venuti and Homi Bhabha. With a practical research on the two translated versions,the author makes an assertive evidence that the postcolonial translation theories should be rethought carefully.
