摘要
电影作为语言与文化传播的媒介,具有大众化和通俗化的特点。而近些年来,随着国产贺岁片的高票房和综艺节目《欢乐喜剧人》等的不断复播,电视电影呈现出娱乐化倾向。因此在对引进的欧美商业电影以及美剧的翻译中,一些译者会采用娱乐化改写手段催化作品幽默和娱乐的效果。本文通过2016年3月上映的3D动画电影《疯狂动物城》,具体分析了在该电影字幕翻译中的娱乐化改写的手段,以期为电影字幕翻译实践提供一些借鉴。
As a medium of linguistic and cultural communication, movie boasts the characteristic of popularity.In recent years, with the soaring ticket office of domestic new year blockbusters and rebroadcast of entertainment programs like Top Funny Comedian, mass media take on an entertainment-oriented tendency. As a consequence,in the translation of western commercial films and American TV dramas, some translators may adopt entertainment-oriented rewriting to promote the humorous and entertaining effect. Based on 3 D animation movie Zootopia shown in March 2016, this paper analyzes the approaches to the entertainment-oriented rewriting in its subtitle translation in the hope of shedding light on the movie subtitle translation practice.
