中美档案文献编纂选题比较研究

A Comparative Study on the Topic Selection of Archival Compilation between China and the United States of America

在一定意义上,编纂选题决定了档案文献编纂出版物得以利用的可能性,进而决定其市场效应和品牌效应。中美档案文献编纂选题的原则和方法不同:在选题原则上,我国注重政策性和政治性,美国坚持需求原则和法律原则;在选题方法上,我国注重传统方式,美国倚重现代技术。为更好地发展我国档案文献编纂事业,可从两方面学习借鉴美国的编纂原则与方法:以现代高科技技术为依托的编纂选题方法,编纂出满足读者需求的档案文献出版物;提高读者的法律意识,督促档案部门和政府部门定期主动地编纂出版政府文件。

To some extent,the topic selection determines the possibility of using the archival compilation publication,and further determines its market effect and brand effect.This paper makes a comparative study of the differences and similarities in the principles and methods of topic selection in the compilation of Chinese and American archives:on the principle of topic selection,China pays great attention to the policy and politics,while the United States insists on the principle of demand and the principle of law;on the method of topic selection,China pays attention to the traditional way,while the United States relies on modern technology.In order to better develop the compilation of archival documents in China,we can learn from the principles and methods of the United States in the following aspects:first,by the method of selecting topics for compilation based on modern high-tech technology,archival publications is compiled to meet the needs of readers;second,improving the readers’legal awareness can urge the archives departments and government departments to regularly take the initiative to compile and publish government documents.
