文本类型理论适用科普文翻译的局限性分析

Analysis of the Limitations of Text Typology Theory in Its Guidance of Popular Science Translation

现代科学技术的飞速发展给人们带来史无前例的巨大收益。相应地,大众对于科技的兴趣也在与日俱增。人们希望通过科普文本了解更多前沿的科技知识,因此,该类文本的翻译及其翻译研究具有重要价值。西方文本类型理论对翻译研究具有重要指导意义,但其在指导科普文翻译中仍具有一定局限性。以科普文本为研究对象,探讨文本类型理论对此类文本指导的局限性以及相应的翻译处理对策。

The rapid development of modern science and technology has brought unprecedented huge benefits to us.Accordingly,the public's interest in science and technology is also growing.People hope to learn more frontier knowledge of science and technology through popular science texts.Therefore,the translation of such texts and their translation studies are of great value.Western text typology theory has important significance for translation studies,but it still has some limitations in its Guidance of popular science translation.Taking popular science texts as the research object,this paper explores the limitations of text typology theory in guiding such texts and the corresponding translation strategies.
