The Historical Process, Characteristics and Basic Experiences of China’s Political Development Since the Reform and Opening-up

改革开放以来,中国共产党领导全国各族人民走出了一条具有中国特色的社会主义政治发展道路,实现了中国政治领域的快速发展和进步。依据党的建设、社会主义民主、社会主义法治以及政治稳定和政治良序4个维度,改革开放以来中国政治发展40年来的历史进程可划分为探索前进期、稳步发展期和全面深化改革期3个阶段。基于政治发展的理论与实践,中国政治发展在发展的目标、内容和方法等多方面具有鲜明的特点。改革开放40年来,中国政治发展取得了巨大成就,在坚持正确的政治方向、加强党的建设、注重协调发展、实行渐进式改革、扩大公民政治参与等方面积累了许多富有成效的历史经验。

Since the reform and opening-up,the Communist Party of China has led the people of all nationalities in the country out of a road of socialist political development with Chinese characteristics,and has achieved rapid development and progress in China's political field.According to the four dimensions of Party building,socialist democracy,socialist rule of law,political stability and good political order,the historical process of China's political development in the past 40 years can be divided into three stages:the period of exploration,the period of steady development and the period of comprehensive deepening of reform.Based on the theory and practice of political development,China's political development has distinct characteristics in terms of development objectives,contents and methods.Great achievements have been made in China's political development in the past 40 years of reform and opening-up.Many fruitful historical experiences have been accumulated in adhering to the correct political orientation,strengthening the Party's construction,focusing on coordinated development,implementing gradual reform and expanding citizens'political participation.
