The application of shape bionic design in the field of modern industrial design has a broad prospect and application value. For the form bionic design, we should not only base on the methodology of “direct bionics” to explain the implicit beauty of modern industrial design art, but also establish an open design thinking, adhere to the idea of multi-disciplinary integration, actively learn from the perspective of “indirect bionics” field, absorb multi-disciplinary design methods, enrich the mode of modern industrial design, and build a suitable modern industrial design based on characteristics.
