基于“对分课堂”模式的大学生思辨能力培养路径——以“英语读写”课程教学为例

A Study on the Training Path of Critical Thinking Skills in “PAD Class”——Taking the Course of English Reading and Writing as an Example

英语专业学生思辨能力欠缺的问题一直困扰英语专业师生。我国针对高校外语专业教学制定了新的标准,把思辨能力培养作为外语专业教学的重要目标。该文分析了思辨能力的内涵,培养英语专业学生思辨能力的重要性,我国外语教学界对培养外语专业学生思辨能力的认识以及对分课堂教学模式的内涵和流程。该文以《英语读写》课程课堂教学为例,探讨了在课堂教学中培养英语专业学生思辨能力的途径,并运用对分课堂教学方法,通过英文阅读、讨论和写作,提高学生的语言技能、思辨技能等。

Inadequate critical thinking skills of students have long been bothering the teachers and students of English majors.A new standard has been set for foreign language teaching in universities in China,which identifies the cultivation of critical thinking skills as an important goal of English major.This paper analyzes the connotation of critical thinking skills,the importance of cultivating critical thinking skills of English majors,as well as the connotation and process of the teaching mode of PAD class.Taking English Reading and Writing course as an example,it also discusses the path and strategies to cultivate critical thinking skills in classroom teaching.Studying English reading and writing under the mode of PRADIW,students can improve their language skills and critical thinking skills through English reading,discussion and writing.
