口腔卫生干预对年轻正畸患者牙周黏膜健康的保护作用

Protective effect of oral health intervention on periodontal mucosa in young orthodontic patients

目的观察口腔卫生干预措施对年轻正畸患者牙周黏膜健康的保护作用。方法选取年龄12~20岁的正畸患者180例,随机分为两组,对照组在每次门诊和随访时进行口腔卫生健康教育,并使用统一的牙膏和方法进行刷牙。实验组在对照组基础上加用统一漱口液含漱。于正畸前(分牙时)和正畸的第3、6和12个月时,记录菌斑指数(PLI)、牙龈出血指数(SBI)、牙龈指数(GI),进行统计分析和组间比较。结果正畸前两组患者牙周黏膜健康状况良好,无明显菌斑,探诊深度正常,PLI、SBI、GI均无统计学差异。随着正畸时间的推进,两组PLI、SBI、GI均有所增加,但实验组增加的幅度较小,在干预3、6、12个月3个阶段,两组间PLI、SBI、GI的差异均有统计学意义(均P<0.05)。结论使用漱口液含漱、结合牙膏刷牙和健康宣教的口腔卫生综合干预措施是维持正畸患者牙周黏膜健康的较好方法,且这一措施的效果在正畸过程中随时间增加而递增。

Objective To investigate the protective effect of oral hygiene intervention on periodontal mucosa health in young orthodontic patients.Methods One hundred and eighty orthodontic patients aged 12~20 years were randomly divided into two groups.The control group received oral hygiene instruction at each outpatient and follow-up visit,using a unified toothpaste and method for tooth brushing,the study group used additional unified gargleliquidon the basis of the control group.Before orthodontic treatment and at the 3rd,6th,12th month of the orthodontic period,the Plaque Index(PLI),Sulcus Bleeding Index(SBI),Gingival Index(GI)were assessed and compared between two groups.Results Before orthodontic treatment the periodontal health was all good,with no obvious plaque,abnormal depth of probing,and there was no significant difference in PLI,SBI,GI between the two groups.With the increasing time,PLI,SBI and GI of the two groups increased,however the increase was less in study group,and there was significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05)at all time points after treatment.Conclusion The comprehensive intervention measures of oral hygiene include mouthwash,toothpaste brushing and oral hygiene instruction,the triple is more effective than a single or double measures to maintain the periodontal mucosa health of orthodontic patients,and the effect of comprehensive intervention measures increases with the time during an orthodontic process.
