高管政治关联与海外背景对企业创新能力的协同影响研究

Study of the Synergy between Executives’ Political Connections and Overseas Background on Innovation Ability of Enterprises

面对实践中高管政治关联和海外背景两者并存的现象,本文以高管政治关联和海外背景对企业创新能力的协同作用为重点理论分析和实证检验,研究发现两者对企业创新能力都具有正向影响作用,同时互相具有正向调节作用。将政治关联划分为行政级别和任职机构、将海外背景划分为海外任职和海外学习进行深入分析。发现行政级别对创新能力具有显著影响作用,同时受到海外背景的正向调节;任职机构则对创新能力影响不显著;海外任职和海外学习都对创新能力具有显著影响,同时受到政治关联的正向调节。研究结论启示高管团队的异质性能有效促进企业创新能力。

In the face of the coexistence of both in practices, this paper focused on the synergy of executives’ political connections and overseas background to the enterprise innovation ability, and carried out an empirical test. The study found that both of them had positive impact on enterprise innovation ability and had positive regulating effect on each other. This paper made in-depth analysis through dividing political connections into administrative levels and work institutions, and overseas background into overseas working and overseas learning. The study found following conclusions: the administrative level has a significant impact on innovation ability, which is positively regulated by overseas background at the same time, while the work institution has no significant impact on the innovation ability. Both overseas working and overseas learning have significant influence on innovation ability and are positively regulated by political connection. The conclusion of the study enlightens that the heterogeneous of top management team is effective for promoting enterprise innovation ability.
