Study on Ontology Principle of Whitehead′s Process Aesthetics

怀特海过程美学思想的本体论原则规定了现实实有作为美之存在的唯一理由。通过对现实实有的经验性特质、两极性以及三重特性的分析,从审美经验的普遍性、两极性以及由“既定性”规定的审美秩序、“主体性”诱导的审美目的、“超体性”彰显的动态生成之美,来探讨依本体论原则而生的“过程之美”的基本特性。进而从怀特海过程美学本体论视角出发,面对现代美学中的“无根之美”、感性学中主观性肆虐以及艺术中心主义等现实问题,探讨“过程之美”的有根性、关系性、普遍性等特征及其对现实问题的基本回应。

The ontology principle of Whitehead's process aesthetic regulates that reality is the only reason for the existence of beauty.Through the analysis of the experiential,bipolar and threefold character of actual entity,this paper probes into the basic characteristics of“the beauty of the process”arising from the ontology principle from the universality,bipolarity of aesthetic experience,the aesthetic order stipulated by“givenness”,the aesthetic purpose caused by“subjectivity”and the beauty of dynamic generation manifested by“superjectivity”.Then from the perspective of Whitehead's process aesthetics ontology principle,in view of problems like“rootless beauty”in modern aesthetics,and subjectivity rampancy in aesthetics,this paper discusses the characteristics of“the beauty of the process”such as its roots,relations,universality and its basic response to practical problems.
