Geoheritage Landscape Resources of the Proposed Zhaojue Geopark in Sichuan

拟建四川昭觉地质公园地质遗迹景观资源较为丰富,类型多样,主要沿省道S307、S208呈带状分布,计有7大类15类17亚类84处地质遗迹景观,最具特色的是央摩租乡小龙足迹,其大小不足3cm,全球只发现于四川峨眉、山东莒南、韩国南海岸,是国内第三例、世界第四例最小的兽脚类足迹,并且央摩租的小龙足迹与大型足迹共存还是世界上首次记录,对研究恐龙足迹组合,恐龙古行为学都有重大的意义。

The proposed Zhaojue Geopark is rich in geoheritage landscape resources which are distributed over 84 spots and may be divided into 7 categories, 15 types and 17 subtypes. Especially, Minisauripus of less than 3 cm in size at Yangmozu is of great significance. This Minisauripus has been discovered only in 3 sites at home such as Emei, Zhaojue, Sichuan and Junan, Shandong, and only in Korea abroad. Moreover, Minisauripus at Yangmozu is associated with large dinosaur footprint fossils which is firstly discovered in the world.
