地方戏是在民间长期流行的一种艺术形式,在20世纪三四十年代,西北地方戏尤其发挥了改造、团结、鼓舞民众思想的重要作用,有力地推动了新民主主义革命胜利的进程。时过境迁,如何在当下继续借助戏剧所赖以生存的广阔民间土壤,有效发挥戏剧对地方群众思想的影响力,这是促进当前戏剧发展的重要问题,也是基层文化建设的长期需要。而在一系列与地方戏发展相关的因素中,抓好剧本创作则是改善和促进其发展的一个重要环节。

Local drama is a art popular for a long time.In the 1930s and 1940s,northwest local drama played an important role in reforming,uniting and inspiring people’s thoughts,and promoting the process of the new democratic revolution.As time passes by,how to make full use of the vast folk soil on which drama survives,how to exert its influence on local people's ideology,have been an issue and a long-term need in promoting current drama and basic cultural construction.Among a series of factors related to the development of drama,it is an important link to make a good job of drama creation.
