Retrospection and Innovation: A Summary of the Fourth Academic Forum of “Gender and Social Development in China: New Sources, New Viewpoints and New Perspectives”

2019年9月6日至9月8日,第四届“性别与中国社会发展:新史料、新观点、新视角”学术论坛在南开大学历史学院召开。来自国内50余所高校的80多位专家学者受邀参会并发言。会议回顾了中华人民共和国成立70年来性别史研究的经验和思路,对过去性别史研究的传统议题进行了深入的反思与探讨,同时尝试探索性别史研究中新思路新方法的运用与结合。会议从史料运用、视角观点以及研究路径等方面对性别史研究进行了主动创新和尝试,对性别史研究的进一步深化有着积极的意义。

From September 6th to 8th,the Fourth Academic Forum of“Gender and Social Development in China:New Sources,New Viewpoints and New Perspectives”was held at the College of history,Nankai University.More than 80 experts and scholars from more than 50 colleges and universities in China were invited to attend and make presentations.At the conference,they reviewed the research experience of gender history in the past 70 years since the founding of PRC,discussed traditional topics of gender history research,and tried to explore the application and combination of new ideas and methods in gender history research.This conference achieved a lot to active innovations and attempts in sources application,perspectives and research methods,which will show positive influence on future gender history research.
