Eliminating All Forms of Violence Against Women: An Assessment of China’s Actions to Combat Violence Against Women in the Last Five Years

1995年联合国第四次世界妇女大会通过的《行动纲领》,把“妇女与暴力”列为12个重点关切领域之一。在“北京+25”的进程中,依据《行动纲领》《消除一切形式对妇女歧视公约》《2030:可持续发展议程》的有关规定,对近五年中国在反对性别暴力领域取得的进展与成就、问题与挑战进行概括梳理,并提出政策建议,可以加速北京《行动纲领》的全面落实。

The Platform for Action adopted by the fourth World Conference on women in 1995 lists“Women and Violence”as one of the 12 priorities.In the process of Beijing+25,based on the relevant provisions of Platform for Action,Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women and 2030:Sustainable Development Goals,this paper summarizes the progress,achievements,problems and challenges China has made in the field of combating gender based violence in the last five years,and puts forward policy recommendations to accelerate the full implementation of the Beijing Platform for Action.
