符号叙述学从媒介角度划分叙述体裁,剧场演出是其中演示类.体裁的一种表现形式。一人一故事剧场演出主要由观众口述故事与演员表演故事共同组成。从符号过程看,该剧场具有双重发送者、符码和接收者,这使得演出具有明确的观众干预性、表演即兴性、不可预测性等特点。其演出文本边界取决于接收者的解释方式,演出文本边界模糊。一人一故事剧场演出文本有清晰的叙述分层。从当今叙述实践来看,一人一故事剧场扩容了当代叙述研究的现实意义。

The study of semio-narratology defines narrative genres according to media,based on which the theater performance is a form of performative narrative.Playback Theatre has two sets of addresser,code and addressees,because it is mainly composed of both the audience's oral story telling and the actor s performance.It shares the features of per formative narratives,such as the possible interaction between the performer and the audience,unpredictability and improvisation,etc.Playback Theatre doesn't have a definite text boundary,which depends on the audience's way of interpretation and it has very clear narrative levels.Playback Theatre has been worldly influential and the study of the Playback Theatre hopefully may widen the scope the study of narratology.
