本文是四川师范大学教授张叉对孟加拉国达卡大学教授卡扎.尔·克里希纳·班纳吉就孟加拉文学与比较文学专题所作的访谈录。首先,访谈介绍了达卡大学英语系的人才培养情况,阐述了达卡大学英语系为孟加拉民族文学发展作出的贡献。其次,访谈回顾了孟加拉国作家为民族文学发展付出的诸多努力,列举了孟加拉民族文学的杰出代表人物。最后,访谈分析了孟加.拉文学面临的危机,展望了中孟比较文学合作的前景。

This is an interview on Bengali liter ature and comparative literature with Professor Kazal K rishna Banerjee from University of Dhaka,conducted by Professor Zhang Cha from Sichuan Normal University.Firstly,it outlines the cultivation of talents at the Department of English in Dhaka University,and expounds the contribution of the English Department of Dhaka University to the developmnent of Bengal national literature.Secondly,it reviews the efforts of Bangladesh writers for the development of national literature,and enumerates the outstanding representative writers of Bengali national literature.Lastly,it analyses the threat Bangladeshi literature faces and looks forward to the prospect of Sino-Bangladeshi co-operation in comparative literature studies.
