Cultivating translation ability is the main goal and task of translation teaching. The lack of translation ability is the main problem in translation teaching. Starting from the main aspects of the lack of translation ability, this paper raises useful methods of improving translation ability in the process of translation teaching in order to improve teaching effectiveness.
