Discussion on the Related Mechanism of Tumor Metastasis and Tumor Microenvironment Based on Phlegm

痰是体内津液代谢失常的病理产物,善于走行和流窜;化痰法是中医治疗肿瘤的主要治法之一;肿瘤微环境的作用与中医"痰"的概念有相通之处,现代药理研究也发现,半夏、浙贝母等多种化痰类中药作用于肿瘤组织能有效调节细胞黏附分子的表达、改善异常的新生血管、逆转肿瘤细胞上皮间质转化(EMT)过程,从而抑制肿瘤转移。

Phlegm,easily moving and fleeing,is the pathological product of body fluid metabolism disorder in human body,and phlegmresolving method is one of the main therapeutic methods of treating tumor.The function of tumor microenvironment communicated with the concept of "phlegm" in TCM,modern pharmacological research shows that phlegmresolving herbsincluding Banxia(Pinelliaerhizoma),Zhebeimu(Fritillariae thunbergii Mlq.) and others could effectivey regulate the expressi ons of cellular adhesi on molecule,improve abnormal new vessels,and recover epithelial stroma transformation of tumor cells,therefore to inhibit tumor metastasis.
