According to the characteristics of the titles in TCM academic thesis,the principles that we should follow and the problems that we should pay attention to in English translation of the titles are illustrated:we should analyze the title to completely and fully survey its connotation,grasp the key character,and translate the character exactly,simultaneously,we should try to be simple,avoid redundant words,and flexibly use the acronyms and subheading so that we could translate the titles better.
