高校ESI学科排名影响因素解析及提升路径研究 被引量:7

摘要 [目的/意义]ESI是衡量学科世界水平的重要指标,如何提升ESI学科排名也是当今许多高校学科建设的重点。[方法/过程]以ESI学科分类体系中的地学学科为例,基于InCites数据库检索出的全球4254个地学机构信息,对比ESI机构被引阈值,遴选出14个ESI排名水平、28个中外样本高校,通过对样本高校在地学学科发表的35445篇文章进行清理和统计,分析了不同ESI排名高校的发文量、被引频次、国际和横向合作、论文作者数量特性,研究了各指标与论文被引频次的相关关系,以及中外高校在各指标上的表现差异。[结果/结论]研究表明:国内高校提升ESI的排名水平,应先提升学校的发文数量,增加论文发表作者的人数,加大与国内外相关机构的合作,提升合作发文的数量,提升合作论文的比例,尤其是国际合作论文比例。为我国高校对标世界一流,理清ESI学科建设路径,提供参考和借鉴。 [Purpose/Significance]ESI Discipline Ranking is an important indicator of international discipline evaluation,and how to upgrade ESI Discipline Ranking has become the focus of university discipline construction both in China and abroad.[Method/Process]Taking Geosciences in ESI system as an example,4254 institutions around the world with Geosciences discipline was retrieved from InCites Database.Based on the Geosciences ESI institution citation threshold,28 institutions with 35445 pieces of paper on 14 different ESI Ranking are selected,their WOS documents,times cited,international and industry collaborations,and author number and feature have been analyzed,and the correlation between all indicators and times cited,and the performance difference in foreign and Chinese universities have been explored.[Result/Conclusion]The study reveals ESI promotion paths for Chinese universities,which are increasing the number of WOS documents on the first importance,and the number of authors,enhancing the cooperation with institutions both in China and abroad,and increasing the collaborative documents,especially the international collaborative documents.This study also provides guidance and reference for our universities to match World Class and finds out effective ESI Discipline construction path.
