外文参考文献与学术期刊影响力的关系

Can the Foreign-Language References Improve the Influence of Academic Journals

研究学术期刊论文引用外文参考文献对期刊影响力的作用机理具有重要意义。文章提出两个新的文献计量指标:外文参考文献h指数、高外文参考文献比例,并以图书馆情报与文献学CSSCI期刊为例,基于中国知网CNKI数据库,采用偏最小二乘法研究引用外文参考文献与学术期刊影响力的关系。研究结果表明:引用外文参考文献有助于提高学术期刊影响力;外文参考文献h指数和高外文参考文献比例可用于评价中文学术期刊;外文参考文献h指数和高外文参考文献比例也可供其他语言的学术期刊借鉴。

For Chinese academic journals,it is of great significance to study the mechanism of foreign-language references on academic journal influence.This paper puts forward two new bibliometric indexes:the foreign-language references h-index and the high foreign-language references ratio.Taking the CSSCI journal of Library,Information and Documentation science as an example and based on CNKI database,the paper uses partial least squares to analyze the relationship between foreign-language references and academic journal influence.The results show that the foreign-language references can increase the academic journal influence.The foreign-language references h-index and the high foreign-language references ratio can be used to evaluate Chinese academic journals,and they can be also available for reference in other language academic journals.
