A review of multidisciplinary team research in hospitals

多学科团队(multidisciplinary team,MDT)是由不同学科专家组成的共同为患者制定适宜诊疗方案的一种会诊形式,它能够综合各个学科的专业知识,打破学科专业界限,提高诊疗水平。近年来国内开始重视MDT的开展,各级医院也已经逐渐开始进行MDT的探索和应用。通过对MDT的定义、参与成员、流程、国内外发展和研究现状进行探讨,分析制约我国MDT开展的因素并提出合理建议,有助于促进MDT在我国的实施与发展,提高就诊效率和疾病综合诊疗水平,改善患者健康结果和我国医疗卫生服务质量。

Multidisciplinary team(MDT)is a consultation form which is composed of experts from different disciplines to make suitable diagnosis and treatment plans jointly for patients.Professional knowledge of various disciplines can be combined through it,thus the boundaries of specialty of disciplines will be broken and the level of diagnosis and treatment will be improved.MDT has been received attention recently in China and hospitals at all levels have gradually begun to explore and apply MDT.Demonstrating MDT’s definition,participation,procedure,development history and research status at home and abroad,analyzing obstacles of the development of MDT in China and making reasonable suggestions are helpful to promote implementation and development of MDT,increase the clinic efficiency and the capacity of comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of diseases,improve the health outcomes of patients and the quality of medical and health services in China.
