海战先后经历了桨船舰队、风帆舰炮、蒸汽铁甲、巨舰大炮和航母核武五个时代的演变,即为四个重要阶段的转型。在海战形态转变与海军转型的历史进程中,有较为明显的规律可循。社会生产力的提高特别是科学技术的进步是转型的根本动因,同时利益的趋向有效地推动了转型的发生与发展。转型不是一蹴而就的,它遵循量变质变规律并与系统内的诸要素完成互动性的整体变革。

The naval warfare has undergone four important stages of transition over an evolutionary span of five eras,including the eras of propeller boat,sail warship with naval gun,armored steam battleship,large ship with heavy cannon,and aircraft carrier with nuclear weapon.Improvement of social productivity,especially progress in science and technology is the primary cause in the process of transition.Meanwhile,the trend of national interests has effectively promoted the occurrence and development of transformation.Transition is not accomplished at one stroke.It follows the law of quantitative change and qualitative change and completes the interactive overall change with the elements of the system.
