楚国铜矿冶业历史进程的考古学探析

Archaeological Analysis of the Historical Process of Copper Mining and Metallurgy in Chu State

文章以考古发现为基础,结合相关文献资料,系统梳理了西周至战国时期楚国铜矿冶业的发展历程,并对楚国采矿、洗矿、冶炼技术的先进性以及铜矿冶业管理的先进性进行了分析。文章指出,楚国高超的铜冶铸技术对东周时期列国冶铁业的兴盛以及铁器时代到来产生了重大影响。

Based on archaeological findings and relevant literature,this paper systematically summarizes the development process of copper mining and metallurgy from the Western Zhou Dynasty to the Warring States Period of the State of Chu.The paper also introduces the innovative features of mining,washing and smelting technologies and the advancing copper mining management.It is pointed out that Chu’s superb copper smelting and casting technology had a great influence on the prosperity of iron smelting industry in the Warring States Period and the arrival of the Iron Age.
