The proposition of comprehensively strengthening the leadership of leading cadres in the new era is our Party’s profound grasp of the changes in the governing environment in the new era,a comprehensive and scientific answer to the current problems and challenges,and an inevitable requirement for our Party to command the“Four Greatness”.Starting from“eight competences”,the paper analyses the rich connotation of reinforcing the governing ability of leading cadres in the new era in an all-round way,and provides the strategies such as supplementing spiritual power,strengthening practical training and innovating institutional mechanism strengthening the leadership in the new era,so as to constantly improve the leadership in practical work.
