摘要
外来者劣势是跨国公司在东道国面临的显著劣势。弱化或克服外来者劣势成为理论和实践的热点。现有研究局限于从跨国公司自身寻求解决方案,本文从母国国家发展战略出发,基于国家特定优势理论、外来者劣势理论,提出母国国家发展战略对外来者劣势的影响机制,并以我国“一带一路”倡议进行验证。研究结果表明,母国国家形象优势是母国国家发展战略与企业外来者劣势的中介变量。
Disadvantages of outsiders are significant weakness faced by multinational corporations in host countries.Weakening or overcoming disadvantages of outsiders has become a hot topic in theory and practice.The existing research is limited to seeking solutions from multinational corporations.On the basis of the theory of country specific advantages(CSAs)and disadvantages of outsiders,we start from the development strategies of home country,put forward the influencing mechanism of country's national development strategy on the disadvantages of outsiders,and validates it with China's Belt and Road Initiative(BRI)in this paper.The results show that the advantages of home country's national image are the mediating variables between the national development strategies and disadvantages of outsiders of the home country.
