“Small Skill but Great Significance”:The Writing of Go in Wang Tingne’s Ci Poems in Late Ming Dynasty

汪廷讷现存词作少有言未及弈者,而在这些涉及到围棋书写的词作中,棋所充当的角色实不尽相同,小到日常实用之物品,大到人生旨趣之载体,皆各自承载着词人不同的情感意蕴。此外汪廷讷在词的创作中也赋予了围棋更多的文化内涵,使围棋的价值从玩赏层面逐渐上升至精神层面,最终在词中呈现出器物意象与主体意志浑然一体的面貌。

Wang Tingne wrote Go in almost his every existing Ci poem.In these Ci poems,which involve the writing of Go,the roles played by Go are quite different,ranging from daily practical objects to the carriers of life’s purport,each of them carries the different emotional implications of the poet.In addition,Wang Tingne in the creation of Ci poem also gave more cultural connotations to Go,so that the value of Go gradually rose from the enjoyment level to the spiritual level,and finally presented the appearance of utensil image and subjective volition all blend into one harmonious whole.
