摘要
射电脉冲星的偏振轮廓特征是最直接的观测特征。现在所观测的脉冲星的辐射通常用脉冲星灯塔模型来解释,脉冲星的自转轴和磁轴之间有一夹角,当脉冲星的辐射束自转一周,地球上的我们就能看到一个脉冲。而脉冲星的偏振观测包含了总强度、线偏振和圆偏振三个方面的信息。由于一些脉冲星的偏振比较弱,特别是圆偏振普遍不强,要求射电望远镜有很高的灵敏度,所以目前拥有高信噪比的偏振资料的脉冲星的数目并不多。
The polarization profile of a radio pulsar is the most direct observed feature.Current observations of pulsar radiation are usually explained by the pulsar lighthouse model.The pulsar's spin axis and magnetic axis are at an Angle.When the pulsar's radiation beam rotates once,we on earth can see a pulse.The pulsar polarization observation includes the total intensity,linear po-larization and circular polarization.Due to the weak polarization of some pulsars,especially the circular polarization,which requires high sensitivity of radio telescopes,the number of pulsars with high signal-to-noise ratio polarization data is not large at present.
