Coupling and Resonance :The Accidental Relationship between Literature and Image and Its Contextual Investigation

基于文学和图像在今天的含义与范围,将文学与图像并列的措置乃一个偶然事件。对文学与图像关系的当代讨论,往往需要吸收古代美学与艺术理论中的思想,如中国的“意”“象”等观念,同时也受到当代媒介、技术及相关观念范畴等新语境的影响,体现出中西美学和艺术理论在当代的耦合。文学与图像的关系,在古代主要体现在诗画关系上。西方艺术哲学探讨诗画关系时,重视艺术分类及分类原则。中国古典美学思想则不将诗画二者对立。这样的思想资源,影响了今天的理论探索。文学与图像在今天体现着新的层级关系,在本体论、批评鉴赏问题、有限性、声音的介入等方面,既相互配合与影响,又因面临相似的困扰而产生共鸣。

The juxtaposition of literature and image is an accidental event,which is based on the meaning and scope of literature and image today.The emphasis on the classifications of art and the principles of classification in the discussion of the relationship between poetry and painting in Western art philosophy,and the ideas of not putting them in opposition in Chinese traditional aesthetic thought,have influenced the theoretical exploration today.The contemporary discussion of the relationship between literature and image could be inseparable from the absorption of the ideas of"meaning"and"image"in Chinese traditional theory of painting and literature.And it is also influenced by the new context including contemporary media,technology and related conceptual categories,etc.There is a coupled relationship between Chinese and Western aesthetics and art theory in the contemporary era and a new hierarchical relationship today.In terms of ontology,criticism and appreciation,finiteness,and the intervention of sound,and resonate for facing similar challenges,they both cooperate and influence each other,and resonate because they face similar problems.
