The memory or reconstruction of traditional culture in the process of urbanization——Take Huai'an city,Jiangsu province as an example

城市化进程中传统文化的保留与现代性的扩张构成了一对矛盾。传统文化的保留和再生产在现代性语境中遵循了民俗主义原则,这是由现代性逻辑决定的。本文以江苏省淮安市的城市空间改造为例,分析现代城市空间建构和传统文化的再生产,以阐释城市空间的重构和传统文化的再生产无一不是彰显了空间正义性和民俗主义的合理性。

During the process of urbanization,the preservation of traditional culture and the expansion of modernity constitute a pair of contradictions.The preservation and reproduction of traditional culture follow the principle of folklorism in the context of modernity,which is determined by the logic of modernity.Taking the urban space reconstruction of Huai'an city in Jiangsu province as an example,this paper analyzes the modern urban space construction and the reproduction of traditional culture,and explains that the reconstruction of urban space and the reproduction of traditional culture all manifest the rationality of spatial justice and folklorism.
