摘要
基于NOW语料库平台,对2010年~2019年关于广州以及老一线城市、新晋一线城市的报道进行了检索,并在检索后对关于广州的报道频次与其他新旧一线城市的频次进行了对比分析,同时手动检索(时间起点设置为2010年1月)与广州的搭配词、共现词以及与语料中各国各地区使用词频情况,揭示广州在主流英文媒体话语中的城市国际形象,从主流英文媒体话语“他塑”的广州城市国际形象中,寻找进一步传播、提升、建设广州城市国际形象“自塑”的灵感、触点和方向。
Taking NOW corpus as the carrier,this paper retrieves the reports about Guangzhou,old first-tier cities and new first-tier cities from 2010 to 2019,and compares the frequency of reports about Guangzhou with that of other new and old first-tier cities.At the same time,the collocations,co-occurrence frequency and usage frequency of Guangzhou since 2010 are manually searched to reveal the international image of Guangzhou in the mainstream English media discourse,and to find out the inspiration of further dissemination,promotion and construction of Guangzhou′s international image self-shaping from the international image of Guangzhou displayed by the mainstream English media discourse other-shaping.
