近代中国邮政发展之初,即建立了较为完备的邮政专用物资供应制度。1910年,上海邮政供应处的成立,标志着全国性邮政供应机构的产生。在其发展过程中,逐步形成了以"集中管理""分层负责"为主要特色的物资管理制度。随着近代邮政物资供应业务的逐步拓展、供应效能的不断提升,邮政物资供应制度日益成为近代中国邮政事业的重要组成部分。

China postal service had set up relatively complete material supply system from its beginning.The Shanghai Supply Bureau established in 1910 marked the emergence of a national postal supply agency.In the process of its development,a management system characterized by"centralized management"and"stratified responsibility"was gradually formed.With the expansion of the modern postal material supply business and the continuous improvement of supply efficiency,the postal material supply system developed increasingly into an important part of the modern postal service in China.
