Modern Chinese Literature and the Construction of Modern Chinese Grammar——Based on Two Grammatical Works

语法是现代民族共同语构建过程中的重要组成部分。语法学描述、解释、研究语言的内在规律,可以为运用此语言的共同体成员树立依循的标准。现代文学是现代汉语书面语的精华,从胡适对国语文法学的呼唤,到第一部现代国语文法专著《新著国语文法》的出现,再到全部以新文学作品讲授现代汉语语法,现代文学成为现代汉语语法知识生产和传播中不可或缺的部分。现代文学通过文学书写试验、锤炼白话,有助于民族共同语的提升,同时,国语语法著作中的新文学作品通过语法教育为更多的人熟知、模仿。通过勾勒现代文学在国语文法著作中的面影,可以从一个重要的角度呈现现代文学对国语建构的历史作用。

Grammar is an important part of the construction of the modern national language.Grammar describes,interprets and studies the laws of language,which can set the standard for members of the community that use the language.Modern literature is the essence of the written language of modern Chinese.From Hu Shi’s call to Chinese grammar,to the emergence of the first modern Chinese grammar work,The New Chinese Grammar,and to that level that teaching grammar all by new literature,modern literature has become an integral part of the production and dissemination of modern Chinese grammar knowledge.Modern literature helps to promote the national language through literary writing,at the same time,new literary works in the grammar works are known and imitated by more people through grammar education.By describing the modern literature in the works of Chinese grammar,we can present the historical role of modern literature in the construction of national language from an important perspective.
