新时代背景下,全球产业竞争格局正在发生重大调整,我国在新一轮发展中面临巨大挑战。知识产权保护是中小企业立足市场、获得长远发展的关键,中小企业的知识产权创造、保护、运用,将有效提升其市场竞争力。伴随着中国改革开放40多年的发展及在国际社会角色的转变、中美贸易摩擦不断升级,知识产权成为中美贸易分歧的焦点之一。在这种经济环境下中小企业在认识自身在知识产权保护方面的现状和问题后,更需要从知识产权保护意识、发展战略、管理机制等方面做工作,以实现企业的升级发展。

Under the background of the new era, the global industrial competition is undergoing major adjustments and China is facing great challenges in the new round of development. The protection of intellectual property rights is the key forSmall and Medium-sized Enterprises(SMEs)to gain a foothold in the market and achieve long-term development. The creation, protection and application of intellectual property by SMEs will effectively enhance their market competitiveness. With the development of China’s reform and opening up for more than 40 years, the role changing of China in the world and the constant escalation of Sino-U.S. trade frictions,intellectual property has become one of the focuses of Sino-U.S. trade divergence. After SMEs have realized their current status and problems in intellectual property protection in this economic environment, they need to work on the awareness, development strategies,and management mechanisms of intellectual property protection in order to realize the upgrade and development of the enterprises.
