The resettlement of hydropower project is a complex and systematic system,and it is a world-class problem.The resettlement scale of Souapiti Hydro Project is larger and characterized with wide scope and long periods.Due to the lack of household registration system in Guinea,the investigations of population and real object index in reservoir submersion area become difficult.Since the absence of resettlement law and resettlement management experiences,the implementation of resettlement is also very difficult.Undeveloped economy and lower culture level and living standard of resettlers lead to the livelihoods of resettlers relying heavily on agriculture.By taking a series of innovative resettlement management modes,the resettlement management of Souapiti Hydro Project has achieved better results.
