“用耳朵阅读”——《檀香刑》戏曲语言研究

"Reading by Ears":A Study on Drama Languages of Sandalwood Death

戏曲作为中国历史悠久的戏剧艺术,常常被作家自觉地运用于文学创作,它对作品的题材、语言、结构、情感、思想等都产生了深刻的影响。莫言的小说《檀香刑》就借鉴了山东高密地方戏曲——茂腔,即小说中的“猫腔”,将民间戏曲与小说巧妙融合,把戏曲语言的表达发挥到了极致。本文重点探究《檀香刑》中由小说叙事、戏曲神韵和民间色彩所凸显的戏曲语言特色,并在此过程中品味其犹如“用耳朵阅读”的语言美。

Being a long-history Chinese traditional drama art,Chinese Opera has been applied to literature works and has deeply influenced themes,languages,structures,emotions as well as ideologies of literature.In Mo Yan's novel Sandalwood Death,Maoqiang Opera is created on the basis of a local opera of Gaomi county in Shandong province,which has the same pronunciation but a different Chinese character.Moreover,in the novel,the combination of opera features and novel form made the expression of drama languages reach perfection.This study is going to investigate the drama languages features in Sandalwood Death which are prominently created by novel narration,drama charm and folk culture,to experience the beauty of drama languages,and to enjoy the rhythm and harmony from the novel which is called"Reading by Ears".
