Syndecan-1在肺腺癌组织中的表达及临床意义

Expression of Syndecan-1 in lung adenocarcinoma tissue and its clinical significance

目的研究Syndecan-1在肺腺癌组织中的表达情况及其与肺腺癌患者临床病理特征和预后的关系。方法用免疫组织化学法(SP法)检测76例肺腺癌组织及其癌旁正常肺组织中Syndecan-1的表达情况,并分析Syndecan-1表达与肺腺癌各项临床病理指标以及患者预后的相关性。结果在肺腺癌组织中Syndecan-1的染色结果为:25例(32.9%)阴性,18例(23.7%)弱阳性,19例(25.0%)阳性,14例(18.4%)强阳性;其中低表达者43例(56.6%),高表达者33例(43.4%)。在癌旁正常肺组织中,Syndecan-1染色结果为:29例(38.2%)阳性,47例(61.8%)强阳性;均为高表达。肺腺癌组织中Syndecan-1低表达与肿瘤分化程度(χ^2=5.545,P=0.032)、卫星结节(χ^2=6.061,P=0.018)、区域淋巴结转移(χ^2=7.727,P=0.01)、pTNM分期(χ^2=14.434,P<0.001)等因素相关。Syndecan-1低表达组患者术后三年生存率为14.0%,明显低于高表达组患者30.3%,差异具有统计学意义(χ^2=12.555,P<0.001)。结论Syndecan-1可能参与了肺腺癌的发生发展,Syndecan-1与肺腺癌的临床病理特征及预后关系密切,可以作为肺腺癌的独立预后预测因子。

Objective To investigate the expression of Syndecan-1 in lung adenocarcinoma tissue and to evaluate its relationship with clinicopathological features and prognosis of lung adenocarcinoma.Methods The expression of Syndecan-1 was detected by immunohistochemistry in 76 cases of lung adenocarcinoma tissues and their around non-tumorous lung tissues,and the relationships between the expression of Syndecan-1 and clinicopathologic features,and the prognosis of lung adenocarcinoma were analyzed.Results The staining results of Syndecan-1 in lung adenocarcinoma tissues were negative in 25 cases(32.9%),weak positive in 18 cases(23.7%),moderate positive in 19 cases(25%),and strong positive in 14 cases(18.4%).According to the statistical results,43 cases(56.6%)were low expression of Syndecan-1,and 33 cases(43.4%)were highly expressed.The staining results of Syndecan-1 in around non-tumorous lung tissues showed that 29 cases(38.2%)were moderate positive and 47 cases(61.8%)were strong positive,and all of them were highly expressed.The low expression of Syndecan-1 was strongly correlated with the characteristics of tumor differentiation(χ^2=5.545,P=0.032),Satellite lesions(χ^2=6.061,P=0.018),lymph node metastasis(χ^2=7.727,P=0.01)and pTNM stage(χ^2=14.434,P<0.001).The cumulative 3-year survival rate was 14.0%in the low Syndecan-1 expression group,whereas it was 30.3%in the high Syndecan-1 expression group(χ^2=12.555,P<0.001).Conclusion Syndecan-1 may be involved in the development of the lung adenocarcinoma.The expression of Syndecan-1 has a close relationship with the clinicopathological features and prognosis of lung adenocarcinoma,thus Syndecan-1 may be an independent prognostic predictor of lung adenocarcinoma,especially,its low expression for overall survival of the patients.
