The Application of Narrative Medicine in Emergency Medicine

叙事医学(narrative medicine,NM)简单来说即为讲故事,是指医生对患者的故事进行认知、吸收、阐释并为之感动的医学,是医学与叙事文学相结合的产物。叙事医学在临床实践中的应用主要是通过培养医生的叙事能力来达到与患者共情,真正走进患者的内心世界,使医患双方彼此信赖。急诊医学是一门直面生死的学科,这里每天都会上演着世间的人情冷暖,所以叙事医学与急诊医学紧密相联。将叙事医学应用于急诊医学中不仅有助于加深患者对疾病的认识还能不断提高急诊医务人员的医疗救治能力及沟通技巧。只有将叙事医学与急诊医学达到真正意义上的结合,才能使急诊医学走得更远,医患间的关系才能得到进一步的改善。

Narrative medicine(narrative medicine,NM)is simply story-telling,which refers to the medicine in which doctors recognize,absorb,interpret and move the stories of patients.it is the product of the combination of medicine and narrative literature.The application of narrative medicine in clinical practice is mainly through the cultivation of doctors'narrative ability to achieve empathy with patients,really into the inner world of patients,so that doctors and patients trust each other.Emergency medicine is a subject facing life and death,where the world is cold and warm every day,so narrative medicine and emergency medicine are closely linked.The application of narrative medicine in emergency medicine can not only help patients deepen their understanding of the disease,but also constantly improve the medical treatment ability and communication skills of emergency medical staff.Only by combining narrative medicine with emergency medicine in a real sense,can emergency medicine go further and the relationship between doctors and patients can be further improved.
