秦文化“怪兽纹”瓦当图案考释

Study on eaves tiles with animal patterns of Qin dynasty

在秦文化动物纹瓦当中有一类较为特殊的瓦当——“(怪)兽纹瓦当”,即这些动物形象难以辨识,仅能确定是一种动物,为此结合秦文化相关动物纹及“(怪)兽纹”所展示的动物特征来进行对照分析,对三个存在争议的秦文化“(怪)兽纹”瓦当图案进行考释,结合文献将其定名为“蛟纹”瓦当、“四雄雉(鸡)”纹瓦当和“佚牛”纹瓦当。

This article studies on the eaves tiles with animal patterns of Qin culture.By means of the method of doc⁃ument and on site visits,collecting and working up the information of eaves tiles with animal pattern and analyses the developing factors and aesthetic consciousness of that from an angel of art science.The study confirms these ani⁃mals as flood dragon,pheasant and cow.
