患者安全事件中医务人员作为第二受害者身心体验的质性研究

Medical Staff’s Physical and Mental Experience as the Second Victim in Patient Safety Incidents:A Qualitative Study

目的了解医务人员作为第二受害者在患者安全事件中的身心体验,为关注、支持第二受害者提供参考。方法2019年4月,目的抽样法选取重庆市某二级医院医务人员15名为受访对象,进行面对面半结构式深入访谈,采用内容分析法分析资料。结果第二受害者在患者安全事件中的身心体验可归纳为以下3个主题:第二受害者的心理反应、躯体反应和应对反应。结论患者安全事件对第二受害者的身心健康产生不同程度的影响,管理者应关注并采取措施支持第二受害者。

Objective To understand the physical and psychological experience of second victims in patient safety incidents,and to provide a reference for the attention and support of second victims.Methods In April 2019,the medical staffs of a secondary hospital in Chongqing were selected as the interviewees by purposeful sampling method.The interviews were conducted face-to-face,semi-structured and in-depth.The data were analyzed by content analysis method.Results The physical and psychological experience of the second victim in the patient safety incident can be summarized into three themes:the second victim’s psychological response,physical response and coping responses.Conclusions Patients’safety incidents have different effects on the physical-mental health and employment choices of the second victim,and managers should pay attention to and take measures to support the second victim.
