马来西亚吉隆坡惠州会馆与广肇会馆关帝诞初探

A Preliminary Study of the Ritual Etiquette of“KuanTi”of Kwong Siew Association and Fui Chiu Association in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia

清代以来马来亚华人社群的地缘会馆,会供奉原乡信仰的神祇,祈求神明保佑,为乡民提供精神寄托。当中普遍受欢迎的就是对"义神"关帝的信仰崇拜。现存两家吉隆坡历史最悠久的会馆,以客家人为主的吉隆坡惠州会馆与和以广府人为主的广肇会馆,每年的关帝诞都会举行隆重的祭祀活动。两所会馆对关帝信仰的坚持,既表示了对中华民族"仁义忠孝"精神的推崇,也是对中华原乡信仰和文化故国的一种怀念。两所会馆关帝诞仪式内容大同小异,但也呈现出一些不同的祭祀礼仪,这些相异的内容,源自各自方言族群的文化特色,体现出民间信仰与各方言群认同的紧密关系。

Since Qing dynasty,the geographical associations in Malaysia such as Huiguan,worship the gods originated from ancestral land. They pray for the blessing of god,provide spiritual sustenance for villagers. The god worshipped which is generally popular is the "Righteous God"KuanTi. Two oldest and prominent Chinese clan associations in Kuala Lumpur,Fui Chiu Association from Hakka group and Kwong Siew Association of Cantonese group,held a grand ritual praying ceremony every year during the birthday of KuanTi. The persistence of the belief of KuanTi from the two associations,not only signify a tribute and dedication to the traditional Chinese ethics of"Renyi Zhongxiao",but also reflect the remembrance on Chinese ancestral belief and cultural origins. Although both of the rituals from the two associations have a lot of commonalities,the different contents of the rituals represent the cultural characteristics of their respective ethnic groups and reflect a close relationship between theirs folk beliefs and ethnic identities.
