朱光潜晚年在其《谈美书简》中曾预言:马克思《1844年经济学哲学手稿》和《资本论》里的论"劳动"对未来美学的发展具有我们多数人还没有想象到的重大意义,它们会造成美学领域的彻底革命。朱光潜美学预言所据思想资源主要是马克思《巴黎书稿》与《资本论》,其推重的核心价值是"劳动"。在这个意义上,可以说朱光潜当年"预言"所期望的是"劳动美学"。

The ideological resources of Zhu Guangqian’s aesthetic prophecy are mainly from Marx’s Paris Manuscripts and Capital, whose core value is "labor".
