It is the responsibility given to higher education to develop the old-age education model in colleges and universities when the social development is up to a certain degree,which is consistent with our national conditions of aggravatingaging of population,and in line with the strong wish of the elderly to accept re-education and high-level education,and it is to realize the change of higher education from elite education to mass education,to explain the educational connotation that higher education is hooked with social development to actively resolve the social conflicts.Colleges and universities have many advantages like rich resources,high-end platform and scientific management to open up old-age education,and they can make full use of the self-advantages in school running to build specialized old-age education model,to take a solid step towards the planning of universal education and life-long education;they make take full advantage of old-age education resources to explore new educationmanagement model,so as to improve the talent cultivation and brand education quality.
