The development and application of ethylene glycol tert-butyl ether technology in China were investigated. The production technologies of ethylene glycol tert-butyl ether including industrialized technology and experimental stage technology were described in detail.The performance differences between ethylene glycol tert-butyl ether and ethylene glycol butyl ether were compared. The market development and application trend of ethylene glycol tert-butyl ether were pointed out.
