Looking Back at Home and Country in a Foreign Context——On the Immigration Perspective and Identity of Khaled Hosseini’s Novels

卡勒德·胡赛尼是21世纪最具影响力的阿富汗裔美国作家,在阿富汗传统文化和西方主流价值观的双重影响下,胡赛尼形成了独特的文学创作风格。他以新的视角反观故土,用独特的移民视角进行文学创作,其作品具有浓厚的移民文学的特征。文章在分析移民文学现象的基础上,着重探讨胡赛尼小说中体现出的移民视角,以及透过移民视角所进行的对文化身份的探寻。

Khaled Hosseini is the most influential Afghan American writer in the twenty-first century.Under the dual influence of Afghan traditional cultural and western mainstream values,Hosseini has formed a unique literary style.He reflects his homeland from a new perspective,and uses a unique immigration perspective in his writing.His works has strong characteristics of immigration literature.On the basis of analyzing immigration literature,this paper studies the immigration perspective reflected in Hosseini’s novels as well as the exploration of cultural identity reflected.
