“以总分为标准”大学英语分级教学改革新探

摘要 大学英语分级教学法目前已经被绝大多数高校采用,本文主要探讨了这一教学模式的理论依据和国内外的研究现状,以广东培正学院为例,对“以总分为标准”的分级法进行分析,探讨以总分为标准的分级法的有效性,针对这一分级法所存在的问题,提出了从听说和读写两个板块进行分级教学的策略。 Level-based college English teaching model has been adopted by most colleges and universities.This paper mainly discusses the theoretical basis of this teaching model,analyzes the current teaching model which categorizes students based on the total score of the English placement test,and then further discusses whether this kind of teaching method based on the total score is really so effective.It is put forward the problems of this grading method.It proposes a new model which divides the students into three levels based on their reading skills and three levels based on their listening skills.
