立艺之道,曰经与史

The Way to Establish Art: Classics and History

《汉书·律历志》引《易》曰:"立天之道,曰阴与阳;立地之道,曰柔与刚;立人之道,曰仁与义。"《易》给出了"立天之道""立地之道"和"立人之道",如果接着讲,那么"立艺之道"为何?按照"二十六史·艺术列传"的脉络路径与文化逻辑,"艺术"是人类最高技术的展示与运用,是与"国之大事,在祀与戎"直接相连的技术。所以"艺术列传"中那些掌握最高技术的人几乎是通《易》之人,甚至有的是通"五经"之人,而"艺术列传"本身就被纳入"二十六史"正史中,"艺术"交织于经与史之中。故此,我们认为"立艺之道"必然就是"曰经与史"。

According to Lvlizhi, Book of Han, the Book of Changes sets the following principles of "the way to establish heaven is Yin and Yang;the way to build earth is rigidity and softness;the way to conduct oneself is benevolence and righteousness", then "what is the way to establish art"? According to the development and cultural logic of Art Biographies of Twenty-six Histories, art is the presentation and application of the highest technology of human beings, and it is the technology directly connected with the idea "national affairs lie in sacrifice and military". Therefore, those who master the highest technology in Art Biographies are almost those who have access to the Book of Changes, and even some of them have access to the "Five Classics". Moreover, Art Biographies itself has been included in the official history of Twenty-six Histories with art interwoven between the classics and history. Therefore, it is believed in this paper that "the way to establish art" is "classics and history".
